At our small brewery, we strive to create microbrews that satisfy both the discerning hop heads and those who prefer a lighter taste. Unique to Winthrop, we are fortunate to be provided with chlorine-free water flowing from the pristine North Cascade mountains. This clean, uncontaminated water helps enhance the natural flavors of the malts and hops bringing you a superior beer drinking experience.

Hooligan Stout

A creamy, dark, full-bodied American Style Stout with a robust roasted malt flavor and a smooth, oaty finish. This beer was named after our friend Jay’s Great Horned Owl, Hooligan.

Rendezvous Porter

Robust American Porter with plenty of caramel and chocolate layers to balance the smooth hop finish.

Big Valley Brown

A medium to dark brown ale with hints of chocolate and caramel, slight malt flavor, mildly hopped, and very smooth.

Ruud Awakening Double IPA

Big, bold American IPA with plenty of piney, citrusy, and floral Pacific Northwest hops that completely overwhelm its medium malt body. This is our signature beer, named after Evan Ruud, the first hop-head in our family.

Epiphany Pale

A medium-bodied pale with moderate bitterness, slight caramel malt flavor, and citrusy hop aroma. This is a good beer to start with when building up the courage for the stronger beers.

Methow Blonde

Engineered for the domestic beer drinker, this blonde ale has a mild bitterness and solf floral aroma.

Our Brewer's Reserve series has been extremely popular. We are brewing these big beers in our larger capacity fermenters, as well as our most popular beer, the Ruud Awakening IPA. The Barley Wine Style Ale and the Imperial Stout are sealed in wax and better when allowed to age. We recently won a gold Medal at the North American Brewer's Association for our Brewer's Reserve Imperial Stout.

Barley Wine Style Ale

Layers of caramel and toffee, very rich in malt flavor with plenty of hops and alcohol. Designed for long-term storage to allow in-bottle seasoning.

Imperial IPA

Our Imperial IPA is bigger and more balanced than its little brother, Ruud Awakening IPA, with a stronger malt presence and increased hopping rate. Mild caramel malt character and plenty of Pacific Northwest hops.

Imperial Stout

Imperial Stout is deep, dark and complex with layers of caramel, chocolate and roasted malts. Very rich with high alcohol and plenty of hops balance out the loads of malted barley.

Renegade IPA

This Unfiltered West Coast IPA helps you slip away. With smooth mouthfeel and flavors of pineapple and citrus prepare to be transported.

Betty Mopper IPA

This crisp and delicious IPA is the second in our series inspired by the classic Heady Topper the OG of New England IPA’s.
